OpenText IAM/IGA Expert

We are currently looking for experienced subcontractors with strong OpenText Identity & Access Management (IAM) expertise to join an ongoing client engagement.

In this assignment, you will support our customer in conducting a comprehensive 6-8 week assessment of their current IAM environment as part of a strategic transformation initiative. The customer currently operates an on-premises OpenText NetIQ IDM/IG solution and is evaluating a transition to OpenText Cloud Identity Foundation (CIF) SaaS.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the customer's current OpenText NetIQ IDM/IG environment, including architecture, integrations, processes, and governance model.

• Analyze existing IAM capabilities and identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.

• Evaluate readiness for migration from an on-premises IAM platform to OpenText CIF (SaaS).

• Map current business and technical requirements to future-state IAM capabilities within CIF.

• Review identity lifecycle management, provisioning processes, access governance, role models, and compliance controls.

• Conduct stakeholder workshops and gather requirements from business and technical teams.

• Develop recommendations, target architecture, migration considerations, and a high-level transformation roadmap.

• Document findings, risks, assumptions, and strategic recommendations for the customer's decision-making process.

• Act as a trusted advisor to both customer stakeholders and project teams throughout the assessment.

Desired Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with OpenText NetIQ Identity Manager (IDM) and Identity Governance (IG).

• Experience with OpenText Cloud Identity Foundation (CIF) or similar SaaS-based IAM platforms.

• Strong understanding of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), provisioning, RBAC, access certification, and compliance requirements.

• Experience leading IAM assessments, transformations, or migration initiatives.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
