Description: Role Purpose

The position acts as a technical resource within measurement technology, supporting commissioning, troubleshooting, analysis, and continuous improvement of measurement systems and methods.

Key Responsibilities

Measurement Systems

• Different activities related to emission, particle and mass flow measurement systems.

• Support activities related to ISO 17025 accreditation.

• Support installation, commissioning, and operational readiness of measurement equipment in test cells and vehicle applications.

• Troubleshoot technical issues across hardware, software, and signal chains impacting measurement quality or availability.

Method Development and Technical Analysis

• Contribute to development and improvement of measurement methodologies and test practices.

• Write instructions and manuals to be used by equipment users

• Perform comparative technical evaluations of measurement solutions and suppliers

Supplier and Expert Interface

• Act as a technical interface towards equipment suppliers and technical support organizations.

• Drive technical issue resolution with suppliers, including follow up and verification of implemented solutions.

• Ensure availability and understanding of technical documentation, manuals, and maintenance information for measurement equipment.

Background

• M.Sc in e.g. Mechanical or Chemical engineering

• Fluent in Swedish

• Understanding of measurement techniques and calibration

• No advanced understanding of chemical engineering is required. More an interest in working hands-on with measurement instruments, write relevant operating instructions and getting them to work in test cells or vehicles.

• Experience from ISO 17025 accredited laboratories is highly meriting

• Programming skills in for example Python is meriting
